With virtual classes, we could not have the usual fun filled team building activities a powerful catalyst to boost morale, improve interactions, and establish a culture of collaboration. With neither a light hearted lively chatting sessions over tea, nor a picnic, we decided to have a virtual Yoga session instead.
Saturday morning saw the entire school of teachers immersed in a rejuvenation program. A half-hour session of deep relaxation with successive stimulation and relaxation yogic practice was slated to kickstart their day. With the hustle and bustle of online class schedules, it seemed to be the need of the hour.
Allowing ourselves to relax and let go of all the chaos in our lives helps us to be centred and in the moment. The process of cyclic meditation provides a deep relaxation to the body and mind, promoting emotional stability and releasing accumulated stress in different parts of our body. It increases our productivity and creativity by reducing hypertension, while also slowing down the ageing process.
The program was well received by the teachers, it was a "Mission Accomplished" as the collective consciousness was one with achieving peace and a deep connect with oneself!
