Republic Day Celebration

The 72nd Republic Day was celebrated with pride and reverence at National Public School Whitefield. The ceremony began with the hoisting of the tricolor flag by Mr. Nitin Garg, Director NVT Group, accompanied by the Principal Mrs. Alka Gupta.

Flag hoisting was followed by the National Anthem to pay tribute to the motherland. The virtual celebration in all the classes from Nursery to Class 8, commenced with the address to the students by the school principal. She dedicated the celebration to the undying human spirit to triumph in the face of adversity and touched upon the measures being taken by the nation to help the citizens tide over the economic crises. She stressed the fact, that we have used the crisis as an opportunity to build on our strengths.

The cultural celebrations, in the virtual platform included, recorded; dance, music and talks by the students. Listening to and singing patriotic songs, triggered in the children and teachers alike, many emotions; pride, love and respect for the country. Art forms; drawings, paintings & dance performances generated loyalty, patriotism and showcased our rich historical, traditional and cultural heritage. What needs special mention is the video, created by the seniors of class 8 to showcase the achievements of the country in various fields from 1950 to date.

No celebration is complete without making us feel proud of the fact that, “Saare Jaahan se Acchha Hindustan Hamara”.
