World Music Day

18 June 2025 witnessed the celebration of World Music Day at National Public School Whitefield, during the morning assembly. The year’s theme, “Echoes of Roots – A Tribute to Folk Traditions,” inspired students and teachers to step away from their routine and immerse themselves in India’s rich musical legacy.

The event opened with a harmonious fusion of Carnatic and folk music, presented by students and faculty from the Music Department. The melodious symphony of traditional instruments mesmerized the audience and highlighted the depth of folk traditions.

Students also shared insightful thoughts on the significance of World Music Day, encouraging everyone to view music as a powerful tool for expression, connection, and cultural preservation.
