6C - Wonders of Science – Science is a Journey of Discovery and Wonders

The school assembly on 1 September, 2025 was a dynamic celebration of science interwoven with Indian cultural heritage, under the theme “Wonders of Science – Science Is a Journey of Discovery and Marvels.” It showcased how scientific thinking and discovery have been and continue to be an integral part of Indian traditions and daily life.

The event began with a Sanskrit shloka, creating a thoughtful and respectful atmosphere. Speeches and quotes highlighted India’s scientific legacy, from Ayurveda and ancient astronomy to modern achievements by ISRO. A creative skit demonstrated the scientific basis of practices like drinking turmeric milk, practicing yoga, and celebrating lunar-calendar festivals. A powerful dance performance addressed the pitfalls of excessive mobile phone use, emphasizing the need to balance technology with real-world connections. The assembly inspired students to blend scientific reasoning with cultural mindfulness, ending on the uplifting message: “Let us think scientifically, live traditionally, and grow globally.”
