2A - Go Green

The students of Grade 2A conducted their class assembly for the academic year 2025-26 on the timely and relevant theme “Go Green.” The assembly aimed to raise awareness about the need to protect our environment and encourage everyone to adopt more sustainable and earth-friendly habits in their daily lives.

The assembly began with a warm welcome by the student hosts, followed by an inspiring quote in Kannada and English on environmental conservation. The highlight of the presentation was a creative skit that seamlessly flowed into a lively dance and a catchy Hinglish song, carrying the powerful message: “Take a step towards a greener planet right now.”

To reinforce the message, the students spoke about the 3 R’s – Reduce, Reuse, and Recycle. This was followed by a heartfelt Hindi poem that further emphasized the need to care for our environment. The central focus of the assembly was a call to action: Say No to Plastic and instead use sustainable alternatives like steel, cloth, and glass. This key message was echoed throughout the performances and tied the theme together.

The efforts of the students were met with appreciation and applause from both teachers and peers.

In conclusion, the “Go Green” assembly by Grade 2A provided the students with a meaningful platform to express their ideas, showcase their talents, and work together as a team for an important cause.
