“To plant trees is to give body and life to one’s dreams of a better world.” -Russell Page
Trees represent life, growth, peace, and nature. A Plantation Drive is organised every year at National Public School Whitefield on World Environment Day, to reaffirm the pledges to make our world a greener place to live. This year, as a part of the drive, students presented the school and the faculty with numerous indoor and outdoor plants. Our students in collaboration with our Principal and Vice-Principal planted a Mangifera indica and a Citrus limon plant in the school premise. Several other outdoor saplings were also planted in the garden area by the students with the help of the gardeners. The drive concluded with a display of gratitude towards each person whose support made the event a grand success.
