Namma Kannada Namma Hemme – Kannada, The Essence of Our Pride

The 69th Kannada Rajyotsava celebrations commenced on Friday, 01 November 2024, and the festivities continued for a week. The Principal addressed the gathering and emphasised on the value of learning and respecting the language of the state. She also highlighted the solidarity that unites the people of Karnataka. The event included a fancy-dress event- ‘Namma Kannada Namma Hemme’ in which the students dressed up as well-known personalities from Karnataka, who fought to establish a separate state for the Kannadigas. A special assembly, dance performances and a Flash Mob added to the charm of the event.

The closing ceremony, on Wednesday, 06 November 2024 showcased the vibrancy of the Kannadigas and culminated with the State Anthem being sung by the students and teachers.
