“Connecting with nature means to connect with ourselves. If we do so, we nurture a better planet.” -Narendra Modi
The high school students of National Public School Whitefield, stood united as they reiterated their commitment towards a safer environment, commemorating World Environment Day, 2024 through a special assembly. The prime theme was depicted through an enlightening speech, that spoke about the objective of World Environment Day in general and the importance of the current year's theme #GenerationRestoration, hosted by The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The students performed a flash mob - Nukkad Natak depicting the causes of land contamination. The well-scripted 'Nukkad Natak' connected each one of us effectively with the message to beat pollution. To conclude the assembly, our Principal, enlightened the students and teachers about the motivation for observing World Environment Day and urged all to take a pledge to control pollution and restoration of the environment for the forthcoming generations.
