Children’s Day

"Children see magic because they look for it." – Christopher Moore

The morning of Children’s Day always imbibes a special sense of anticipation. So was there an undeniable energy in the air, a collective excitement shared by students and teachers alike. The vibrant decorations transformed our familiar Multipurpose Hall into a space of celebration.

This year, the faculty of NPS Whitefield had decided to organize a chain of events to celebrate our young learners. As the students arrived, their enthusiasm was evident in their wide smiles and lively chatter and the question on many lips was, “What’s the surprise today?” The teachers exchanged knowing glances, keeping their preparations a secret until the final moment.

Among various shows, were an array of music and dance performances by teachers from various departments, a humorous skit designed to reflect some of the most memorable classroom moments and a vibrant fashion show showcasing the various states of India. Laughter rippled through the hall as the students enjoyed a jocular ventriloquist performance by one of the teachers. The show culminated with the customary Vote of Thanks to our esteemed dignitaries and academic and non-academic staff.

The laughter, joy, and gratitude of the students resonated through the air, reaffirming the fact that Children’s Day is not only a celebration of the students but also a celebration of the bond we share with them—a bond built on mutual respect, inspiration, and the joy of learning together.
