7A Class Assembly – Republic Day

Students emphasized the importance of Republic Day and the role it plays in reminding us of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the significance of the Constitution of India.

The school celebrated the 76th Republic Day with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour.

The ceremony began with the hoisting of the National Flag by our beloved Principal ma’am. As the flag fluttered proudly in the wind, the national anthem was sung, charging the atmosphere with pride and fervour.

Students emphasized the importance of Republic Day and the role it plays in reminding us of the sacrifices made by our freedom fighters and the significance of the Constitution of India. Few students spoke about the great leaders ‘Dr. B. R. Ambedkar’ who was the keyperson who framed the constitution of India and ‘Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose’ and their struggle to build a nation with good values. They urged everyone to make a promise to uphold the values of equality, dignity, self-respect, compassion and kindness – in their daily lives.

Students of classes 6 to 8 performed a soulful rendition of a patriotic song which further added to the spirit of the occasion. This was followed by a patriotic dance performance by the cultural group, which left the audience captivated.

The assembly concluded with a vote of thanks - expressing gratitude to the dignitaries, participants and all those who contributed to the success of the event. The students left the assembly with a renewed sense of pride and patriotism, reminding everyone of the significance of Republic Day in strengthening the unity and integrity of our nation.
