This is how the Times NIE welcomed the faculty from renowned schools across the city for an enriching and engaging session at the annual Teacher’s Meet held on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.

The event organised in collaboration with Nuclear Power Corporation of India Limited (NPCIL) was curated with a series of activities to keep the educators abreast of the latest progress in the field of Nuclear Science.

The programme commenced with an invocation dance by students. This was followed by eminent dignitaries addressing the audience. The chief guests acknowledged the teachers with great regards for being an essential point of contact between Times NIE and the students and ardently encouraging them to read the daily publications.

The event proceeded to a captivating Quiz session conduct by an accomplished Quizmaster. It comprised of three interactive rounds – Curiosity, Illustration and Performance which doubled up as ice-breakers for the audience too.

The day’s event culminated into an insightful communication on ‘Understanding the Fear of Unknown – a Perspective on Nuclear Energy,’ by a senior official from NPCIL which effectively elucidated on various ‘Perceptions versus Reality of Atomic Energy’.

Altogether, the Times NIE Teachers’ Meet 2024 evolved to be a worthwhile forum for the academics.
