NURSERY - Letter Recognition activity

Letter recognition and beginning sounds is of utmost importance for Nursery students who are taking their initial steps towards reading and writing. The ice-cream scoop activity has been specifically designed to enhance letter recognition, involving both uppercase and lowercase letters, while introducing students to beginning sounds using a diverse range of ice-cream scoop picture cards. Students identified and placed these ice-cream scoops in their designated spots. They practiced matching upper and lowercase letters and also reinforced the connection between pictures and letters. Additionally, this activity aids in the development of fine motor skills. It provided an engaging and enjoyable learning experience for all the students.
