URSERY - Letter to Picture Association

‘The Cookie Jar’ activity was a fun and engaging activity where the students learnt uppercase and lowercase letters, the beginning sounds of the letters, letter-sound correspondence, and letter-to-picture association. Cookie jars were placed on the table with the upper-case letters glued to the jars. The lower-case letters and the pictures related to the letters were all cut and made into the shape of cookies. Students had to identify the letter on the cookie jar, find and place the lowercase letter and the related pictures inside the cookie jar. The activity overall helped students in their early Literacy skills.
