KG2 – Solar System

The young learners of KG2 were introduced to our solar system through an innovative role play activity. The students wore headbands depicting the Sun and the planets of our solar system and arranged themselves according to the position of each planet that revolves around the Sun. They also explained the characteristics of each planet. The natural inquisitiveness that children have about outer space sparked curiosity about our universe and also encouraged them to appreciate the special characteristics of our home planet ‘Earth’.
