KG2 - Dussehra Celebration

Celebrating festivals in school brings students closer to each other's traditions and cultural beliefs and develops respect and understanding towards them. Dussehra also known as Vijayadashami coincides with the culmination of the nine day Navratri festival and symbolises the triumph of good over evil. The studentsof KG2 celebrated the festival with a special assembly. Their schoolmates sat mesmerised by the visual rendition of the Ramayana and clapped with the vibrant dances. This auspicious event was a learning experience for all the little ones about our rich Indian cultureandvalues.
