Teacher’s Day

Teachers’ Day is one of the most poignant events for any educational institution. It is an ode to the untiring efforts of all teachers who have shaped the world by shaping the minds in the most productive and creative way. It is the celebration of the most selfless act which gives the highest level of happiness in the growth and success of others.

F.Sionil Jose said, ‘The influence of teachers extends beyond the classroom, well into the future’. No doubt, the future of the world lies in the classrooms.

Teachers’ Day at NPS, Whitefield was celebrated with great zeal and enthusiasm as the young hearts opened up in appreciation and delight for their teachers. On the other hand, the teachers felt motivated and acknowledged to continue toiling for the greater good of the society and world at large.

All teachers proudly carried the cards written with heartfelt messages from their beloved students and flowers on this very special day. Right from pre-primary to senior secondary, the day saw songs and dance put up by the students to honour their teachers and show their gratitude towards them. The programme was loved and applauded by both, the teachers and students.
