Students of National Public School Whitefield orchestrated an assembly on Republic Day to commemorate Swami Vivekananda's birthday. It aimed to instill the philosophies and ideals Swamiji embraced as a profound source of inspiration for the Indian youth.
The celebrations commenced with the traditional flag unfurling ceremony, symbolizing the sovereignty of our nation. The tricolour flag was unfurled by Mr Vivek Garg, Director NPS Whitefield, East and Marathahalli and Principal Ms Alka Gupta followed by inspiring speeches by the dignitaries.
Students of all four houses- Pioneers, Challengers, Voyagers and Explorers marched with precision, exemplifying the strength of our solidarity. The school band complemented the parade with their melodic repertoire. Students also presented the musical extravaganza through myriad performance which showcased the cultural richness and vibrance of the incredible states of India. A well synchronised Mass Drill performed by students of Class 7 brought the spectacular programme to its culmination which left the audience in awe, highlighting the power of teamwork and discipline.
The programme was drawn to a conclusion with heartfelt gratitude extended to the esteemed guests and all those who were involved in organising the programme meticulously.
The 75th Republic Day celebration eventually established itself as a manifestation of patriotism and showcased the essence of democracy and integrity that form the bedrock of our nation.
