Investiture Ceremony

Leaders are not born but are made by their experiences in life. To inculcate the leadership qualities in the students, National Public School Whitefield solemnised the most prestigious Investiture Ceremony on 30 June 2023 with dignity and pride. The momentous day dawned to bestow responsibilities on the deserving young talents of the school to lead their school with commitment, confidence and competence.

The event began with the school prayer and welcome of the Chief Guest Mr Vivek Garg and Principal Mrs Alka Gupta. The young council members were all prepared to don the mantle of leadership and discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them by the school. Their impressive march towards the dais for the customary oath-taking made the ambience majestic and emotional. They were conferred with badges and sashes by the Principal and the Chief Guest. The School Flag and respective House Flags were handed over as a sign of delegating responsibility to the newly elected captains.

The Chief Guest congratulated the newly elected members and guided them to discharge their duties with commitment and integrity. He advised that leadership is not only about titles, rather it is the ability to inspire, guide and bring out the best in others. The Principal motivated and blessed them with her golden views to make their vision clear and perform their duties with complete dedication. She emphasised that leadership is to listen to needs and ideas and evocate them with passion and determination. It was a proud moment for all the parents to witness their children being empowered as leaders.Everyone dispersed with the promise and hope that these young leaders will carry out their duties with honour and excellence.
