Field Trip - Class 8

Field trips always come with a lot of excitement and fun, and going on a field trip with friends that too after two years of covid pandemic really brought in enormous amount of excitement and fascination. Students of Grade 8 had a fun-filled and an adventurous trip to Value Lanes on 18 August 2023.

The trip wasn’t filled only with fun but with a lot of learnings, teachings and values while enjoying some of the best moments of their lives. Values like adaptability, discipline and team work were the major take-aways for the students.

The journey was as enjoyable as the destination. Dancing till content, singing their hearts out, being left in awe by the mesmerizing location of Value Lanes were all a part the field trip. As we reached there, we were greeted with scrumptious breakfast consisting of the flavourful tastes of South India. Different activities brought about different values within us. The first activity gave us an insight on team work, coordination, leadership and time management. Heights, strength and willpower were all learnings of the next activity. Students had to complete an adventurous course encountering their fears. The final task was a game of trust. A student had to walk on a rope blindfolded guided by the trusted buddies. Though balance was also a component of this activity, we learned how to trust one another which is an important value to be taken into account in life.

The day concluded with refreshments as they made their way to the buses thinking about just how much fun they had while also adding to their learning. Value Lanes is an extremely thoughtful name given to the place and the members and staff of Value Lanes have very well justified the name, guiding everyone towards the right path in unique way which will remain with everyone forever!
