Investiture Ceremony 2022 - 2023

Books play a significant role in our life. It is said “When you open a book, you open a new world”. It is very rightly said that reading is essential for those who seek to rise above the ordinary. To encourage our students to read more and to inculcate the love for reading, NPS Whitefield, Bangalore conducted D.E.A.R (Drop Everything And Read) across all the Classes from 1 to10. D.E.A. R activity is designed to remind folks of all ages to make reading a priority activity in their lives. In order to inculcate the habit of reading in Students, our Principal Ms. Alka Gupta also participated in this engaging activity with Class 8 students in the Auditorium. Ma’am spoke about the importance of reading and stated how good books are our best companions- today and forever. Ma’am also discussed with students if books have helped them change their perspective towards life and if the students were able to relate with any of the characters from the books and imbibe qualities from them.

The Auditorium looked like a huge library in itself with so many students and teachers reading together. All the students and teachers across the grades were totally absorbed in this amazing activity and it was a delightful scene to see all of them away for some time from their daily school routine, breaking the monotony, thus building beautiful memories for themselves.
