Expressing Gratitude-Thank you
One of the good values that we can inculcate in little ones is the value of ‘gratitude’. Children of KG1 were given an opportunity to express their gratitude towards the school support staff, security guards, house help etc. as a part of their topic of ‘Community Helpers’. Alongside teacher’s guidance, children made a beautiful ‘Thank You’ card for their favourite community helper. They were thrilled to do paper folding craft activity and with the instructions, they folded the origami sheet and made a Tulip flower. Further, children pasted the flower and drew a stem and leaves below it. This activity helped to enhance their concentration and pincer grip. It also gave them a sense of pride and humble feeling when they handed over the card to their favourite community helpers.
