Counting, recognising and sequencing numbers helps young learners to develop Numeracy skills. Students of KG1 were all set to experience yet another hands-on Math activity. Five blank strips were set under the heading of 1-10, 11-20...41-50 on the wall. Teachers randomly distributed number cards from 1-50 to the children. She pasted the number 1 card on the strip and each child with consecutive number card picked and pasted it on the strips.
As the activity progressed with each successive number, children not only learned sequencing of numbers from 1-50 but also, self-corrected the errors, if any, by pasting them incorrect order. This activity facilitated children to enhance their thinking skills and problem-solving skills.
