Language and culture of any country plays an important role in making people connect with each other and helps in making a strong nation. Hindi is a language of love, togetherness, and brotherhood. HINDI DIWAS is celebrated, every year, on 14 September with great pride and enthusiasm as Hindi was adopted as the official language of our nation, India on September 14, 1949. To pay tribute and to mark the importance of our country’s most widely spoken language, NPS Whitefield School too celebrated Hindi Diwas.
The program was inaugurated by the Principal with the lighting of the lamp. This was followed by the euphonious chanting of the Saraswati Vandana by a team of students with admirable pronunciation and poise. The audience was absolutely enthralled by vibrant performances that included a dance and an informative skit on the value of Grammar, presented with a positive sense of humour, bringing a wide smile on every face.
A motivating and heartfelt speech was delivered by our Principal Ms. Alka Gupta, conveying her best regards to all the students and teachers. The divine mosaic of language and culture so occupied the heart that it left an evergreen memory in our hearts.
