Creativity is making something marvellous out of the discarded. Creativity gives children freedom to explore their surroundings and learn new things from them. Creativity fosters mental growth in children. To inculcate this quality. Best out of Waste competition was held for the students of classes 1 and 2 from 27 to 29 of October 2021. The students performed spectacularly creating their favourite toy/ favourite mode of transport using waste resources like tetra packs, old bottles, newspapers etc. Their creativity, presentation and effective utilization of resources enthralled everyone. The event was thoroughly enjoyed by everyone.
The second preliminary round was held on 8 November. The students created useful commodities within the specified time frame using materials like new papers and cardboard. It was endearing to see their creativity and the apt usage of resources.
The final round of the competition was conducted on 10 November 2021. The topic given to the students was ‘Art out of Waste’ (creating a scenery using waste materials). It was a delight to watch the little creators creating their masterpieces. The children used various materials aesthetically and made elaborate creations. It was indeed an afternoon well spent.
