Class 3 - Interclass Competition – Ganithkari

“Mathematics is the art of giving the same name to different things”

The students of Class 3 participated in the Ganithkari Interclass Competition with a lot of zeal and enthusiasm. The preliminary round was conducted section wise in which two students were selected from each section. The theme for preliminary round was “Any scenery to be drawn by using 2D shapes.” The students participated actively by presenting their creativity in art to the best of their ability.

There were twelve students for the final round. The best two were selected as winners among them. The theme given on the spot for final round was “Underwater scenery" which was required to be drawn using 2D shapes (Triangles, Circles and Rectangles Only). The finalists were overjoyed and well prepared. Their creativity in art related to Mathematics had no boundaries. Each finalist showcased their creative skill in drawing and colouring and yes, the result was seen as an amazing piece of art work.
