Celebrating a National festival and imparting the knowledge about our national leaders is a part of the curriculum of Pre-primary. We celebrated ‘Gandhi Jayanthi’ honouring the birth anniversary of our great leader and Father of our nation ‘Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi’ provoking the thoughts of our little children with the pictures of three wise monkeys. Our tiny tots were thrilled to see the pictures of the little monkeys embodying the principal of ‘See no evil, hear no evil and speak no evil’. Teachers helped children to understand this message through the three wise monkeys with an art and craft activity.
Our Pre-primary students learnt about the irreplaceable contributions of Mahatma Gandhi towards India’s freedom struggle. They learnt about his beliefs and message of peace and non-violence to the nation. We concluded our celebration with the hope that our future generation would make the world a beautiful place by implementing his lessons of life.
