Fun with water is never-ending and so is learning. Yet again, another practical life skill activity of liquid pouring for our Nursery children to enhance their key areas of development. Children were ready to do the pouring activity with two containers - one empty and the other filled with water. Children enjoyed pouring the water from one container to the other with a great sense of concentration. They repeated the activity with great enthusiasm and care. This activity enhanced their refined muscular movement and eye-hand coordination. Our children also listened to the slender sound of water while transferring the liquid to the other container, which eventually sharpened their auditory senses. Teachers reinforced the importance of cleanliness by encouraging them to wipe out the spilled water with the napkin and keep their workspace clean and tidy.
