At NPS Whitefield where it is believed that every child is a different flower and altogether, they make this world a beautiful garden, Children’s Day served as one more opportunity to reiterate the same idea.
The first Prime Minister of India, Pandit Nehru, had once said that children are the country's future, and how we bring them up will determine the future course of our country. Therefore, on 14 November, people pay their tribute to the first Prime Minister of India and his vision.
To commemorate this special occasion Principal Ms. Alka Gupta in her inspirational message reminded students the need to adapt and embrace change. The Teaching Faculty at NPS Whitefield sent out touching messages to their students, which reiterated both their affection and their care. The twin years 2020 and 2021, have ushered in an era of school corridors which have been rendered empty and vacant classrooms, which tell a story of a not so distant past. The message of brightening their future, by igniting their minds through knowledge in the form of lighting a candle was poignantly portrayed by the Senior Teachers. The students enjoyed the program and were eagerly looking forward to resuming Offline classes.
