Class 4 Assembly on the Theme ‘Makar Sankranti’

Makar Sankranti marks the arrival of spring in India. It is celebrated under different names and traditions across in our country, with a diverse culture and is considered a time of peace and prosperity. Spiritual practices are conducted on this day too. The students of class 4 presented the assembly based on the theme; Makar Sankranti, with great zeal and enthusiasm. They were dressed in traditional clothes for the occasion and showcased the different ways of celebrating the festival, in the states of India. Colourful and artistic kites made by the students added colour to the celebration.
