Class 4B presented their special school assembly on 11/12/19 on the topic CHRISTMAS.
The Assembly commenced with the beautiful thought - ‘He who has no Christmas heart, will never find it under the tree.’ The meaning of this thought is – Christmas is not as much about opening our presents which are wrapped up in paper under or on the tree, but it is about opening our hearts to embrace the good.
This was followed by the National, International and NPS news. The students then wore their thinking caps to answer the questions posed by the quiz masters on various topics related to Christmas.
The entire audience tapped their feet along with the tune of ‘Last Christmas,’ sung by the Wham duo, as the students presented a lovely dance on the song.
The skit presented by the students was based on the first visitors that Jesus had after his birth. The rulers Belthazar, Melchoir and Casper followed the star to reach him at his birth. This was appreciated by the spectators as it was very informative.
No Christmas celebration is complete without the Christmas carols. The assembly came to an end with the rendition of ‘Rudolph the red nosed reindeer’, ‘deck the halls’, ‘you better watch out’ and ‘Jingle Bells’.
